Itinerary

Santa Marta - La Aguacatatera - Mamey - Camp 1

- Departure from Santa Marta at 7:30 a.m. (approx), 1 hour drive in a 4×4 vehicle to the Ecosierra office (La Aguacatatera).
- Final destination by vehicle: El Mamey at 11:30 a.m. (1 hour approx).
- Lunch in the village.
- Hike for four hours to the first camp.
- Overnight in hammocks or beds, according to availability.
- Dinner at the camp.

Camp 1 - Mutanyi - Camp 3

- Departure from camp 1 around 6:00 a.m.
- Hike for 2:30 hours to Mutanyi indigenous village.
- Walk for one hour to camp 2. Lunch.
- Hike for four hours to Paradise (camp 3).
- Overnight in hammocks or beds, according to availability.
- Dinner at the camp.

Camp 3 - Ciudad Perdida - Camp 2

- Departure from camp 3 around 6:00 am.
- Walk uphill for one hour to Ciudad Perdida.
- 4 hours tour to see the archaeological, ethnological and historical zone.
- Return to camp 3 there lunch.
- 4 hours trekking to camp 2.
- Night in hammocks or beds, according to availability.
- Dinner at the camp.

Camp 2 - Mamey - Santa Marta

- Departure at 6:30 am from camp 2.
- Hike for 7 or 8 hours to return to Mamey.
- Lunch.
- Departure by 4×4 vehicle for 3 hours to Santa Marta.
